SDK Changes

1. E: Couldn't find package libhildondesktop-dev

You need to change the name of the package from libhildondesktop-dev to libhildondesktop1-dev.

2. E: Couldn't find package tslib-dev

This library seems to have changed its name to libts-dev.

Build failures

1. automoc segfaults Contacted Maintainer: No

2. anyremote fails (needs a X header file.) Contacted Maintainer: Yes

3. Even though bluemaemo builds, it won't in the current state in fremantle, the bluez project broke the api between v3.xx and v4.xx, so some minor changes are required

4. debootstrap fails;
"E: Package makedev has no installation candidate" Contacted Maintainer: No

5. Midori fails; Cannot find libwebkit-dev Contacted Maintainer: No

6. webkit fails because it needs bison! Contacted Maintainer: No

Missing dependencies

1. libsoup2.2

Preventing GPE suite from building.

Package exists in Diablo extras-devel. Not clear whether it would build for Fremantle.

2. libesd

Preventing gpe-calendar from building.

Sound system in Fremantle is different and is no longer ESD-based. Maybe a new libesd could be used or else applications need to change to use ALSA?

3. cmake

Preventing opensync from building.

Cmake is broken on Fremantle.
