[[Maemo 5/PR1.1.1|PR 1.1.1]] was the preparatory release for PR1.2 (V10.2010.19-1), which was [http://conversations.nokia.com/2010/05/25/nokia-n900-software-update-release-1-2/ released on May 25/26, 2010].

The PR1.2 SDK and tools has been updated on March 22nd, 2010 in order to give the developers time to adapt to the new firmware update and Qt 4.6.

== New Features ==

* Skype video call (with PC and other Skype video capable clients)
* XMPP video call (with Google Talk, PC web client or other GTalk video capable clients like N900, N810, N800 etc., or GNOME desktop client). In general, with any XMPP Jingle video call capable client.
* SIP video call (with supported SIP video call clients)
* Skype multiuser chat
* Qt 4.6.2 is now preinstalled on the OS.
* Changes for the video recording in the Camera Application.
* Video calling can be accessed through contacts (Skype and gtalk).
* Can dial USSD Codes.
* SS codes dialing available as ester egg (go figure).
* No more "More" menu in application launcher, and is rearrangeable.
* Virtual Keyboard has been modified and now looks different.
* Long-press on hardware keyboard equivalent to Fn key (blue arrow)
* File Manager is now able to share any file and/or folder.
* Typing in Application Manager starts a search (like it is in Contacts or Media Player).
* Status area is now reachable in portrait mode (not working here...)
* New design of Maps, navigation now with waypoints and arrows
* Tab on address in contact starts Maps and shows position of contact-address
