Host a Maemo contributor
Some people living in or near berlin (including me :)) could provide accommodation in their residences. I think I have space enough for two people... An other idea would be something like: [1] --jukey 15:24, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
Cheap accommodation
The location of the summit is here: [2] Some colleagues gave me the following tips:
- Die Fabrik (from 18 EUR/person/night - 2,6 km away from the summit place) route from hostel to summit place
- BaxPax Hostel Kreutzberg (from 12 EUR/person/night - 2,4 km away from the summit place) route from hostel to summit place
- Hostel X-berger (from 12 EUR/person/night - 2,8 km from the summit place) route hostel to summit place
- Apartment for up to 4 persons (from 79 EUR/appartment - 1km from the summit place) route from hostel to summit place

Affordable hotels
People who may want something a bit classier than a hostel (presumably not sponsored by the Maemo Software Team) may be interested in this list of hotels which should be near the venue. For example, Ibis Berlin Mitte has rooms for about 74 EUR/night. --Jaffa 20:11, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
Pure luxury
If you really need it a hint could be Hotel Palace, the venue of OSiM World.
Sponsored participants
Participants with a sponsorship covered by Nokia need to book their accommodation themselves. They need to pay in advance and claim their expenses to Nokia afterward, presenting the invoice paid.
The limit of accommodation costs covered by Nokia is 375€ (5 nights * 75€). (Since the budget for sponsorship is fixed, in reality this depends on the amount of people Nokia will cover plus their travel costs)
