::''All of my Harman Kardon config files appear to be for older models than the 355, but they are also all very consistent; can you check the existing HK keysets to see if they work for you?  (I've been splitting Harmon Kardon controls into separate components, so you may need to use more than one keyset to access all the controls for your device.)  Thanks!  --Copernicus 29/Sep/2012''

::I have thrown this in there as it maybe useful for me in the near future. However I do appreciate it's not your normal A/V stuff and may need a separate panel like the Air-Con Stuff. --sixwheeledbeast 29/Sep/2012

::''Man, tough one!  I can see photos of a couple of Dedicated Micros IR remotes, but I'm not finding config files for them.  (BTW, you probably know this already, but that glorious "remote keyboard" they've got is a wired keyboard.  It supports a wire more than a kilometer in length, so I guess it can be "remote" in that sense...)  The IR remotes I can see appear to be fairly standard TV-style remote controls, with perhaps some buttons remapped to do specialized tasks; I suspect you could fit a lot of them into Pierogi's current "universal" idiom.  But yeah, I could do a separate panel too.  If I can ever find some config data! :)  --Copernicus 29/Sep/2012''

::''BTW, the DS2 appears to include a browser-based interface, allowing you to both control the device and see the video over the net.  So that might be another option...  --Copernicus 29/Sep/2012''

::I do realise the functions of this unit as I install them for a living, the keyboard/joystick you speak of is RS485 and cabled only. I don't have a unit handy but I am thinking with your macros panel I could move around the menus quickly when installing one. I didn't expect you to find IR data for the remote easily (I am going to ask the manufacturer in the week) but hope you consider the possibilities of CCTV DVR IR remotes in the future. --sixwheeledbeast 30/Sep/2012

::''Will do.  I have got a little bit of info for a couple of other brands: Bosch, IC Realtime, even a "generic" config file that the author claims "should work with a number of different units".  I'll take a look at these, and see what kind of panels I can whip up for them...  --Copernicus 30/Sep/2012''
