As Business Development Manager being responsible for the business planning and product marketing in the mobile commerce competence center, Mr. Schneider initiated the development of key mobile commerce applications. He also worked as Product Manager at Siemens responsible for mobile enterprise communication solutions in the Nordic Countries for three years.

Maemo software has been a forerunner to take the Linux desktop to mobile devices. Maemo platform has been developed by Nokia in collaboration with many open source projects such as the Linux kernel, Debian, GNOME, and many more.
