Mr. Schneider also worked as Business Development Manager for Siemens until the end of 2000. As Business Development Manager being responsible for the business planning and product marketing in the mobile commerce competence center, Mr. Schneider initiated the development of key mobile commerce applications.

Mr. Schneider holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt, Germany and a MBA degree in General Management from the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration, Finland.

Peter Schneider is the Head of Product Marketing of Maemo Software at Nokia since January 2008.

He has over 12 years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, and Business Development functions in the telecommunications and software industry. Before his current position, he has been heading the strategic product marketing team of S60 software for operators in Nokia for over 2 years.

In his career. Peter Schneider has been responsible for various product management teams for browsing, payment, DRM, and download solutions in Nokia since October 2000.
