Before working at Nokia, he worked as Product Manager at Siemens responsible for mobile enterprise communication solutions in the Nordic Countries. Mr. Schneider also worked as Business Development Manager for Siemens until the end of 2000. As Business Development Manager being responsible for the business planning and product marketing in the mobile commerce competence center, Mr. Schneider initiated the development of key mobile commerce applications.
