Users can list here applications that are missing and important for them. This will help prioritizing the packages they depend upon.

Power users and developers can help finding out what are the problematic packages and listing them in the main page.

      • netscat is in the tools repository below, just installed it from there
      • Because the tools repo isn't advertised for end-users, seemed to be focused on SDK usage, repo proliferation is bad and because I didn't check. --Jaffa 22:17, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

  • (Note that USB Control is NOT the same thing as maemo-control-usb, maemo-control-usb only allows USB networking and does not work with keyboards or flash drives. The description of maemo-control-usb in the app manager is rather deceptive, it doesn't really allow proper host mode for USB accessories. USB Control does allow host mode for USB accessories, and it's extremely easy to install and use, hence this request for it to be brought to diablo as quickly as possible.)--krisse 09:31, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

Please contact the developers to have them available in Diablo extras. Now we are concentrating in making work what works in Chinook extras.

Erming never was in the repository but I am going to work with the new erminig developer to upload it to the extras repository.--yerga 16:38, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

• XChat (Irc)

The XChat build for Chinook never actually made it into a repository. There's a deb available here, but I don't think the sources are readily available. Somebody might consider emailing skyhusker to ask about it, or perhaps we could get some new blood to pick it up moving forward since it seems pretty stagnant right now. —GeneralAntilles 01:04, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Now uploaded to chinook and diablo extras-devel, although it's annoying to have many tiny xchat-locale-$XX packages cluttering the app list. Help would be appreciated. --mgedmin 23:56, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

• Internet Communications Software Update 2

This is beta software provided by Nokia. It shouldn't be in extras either.

• FBReader

The packages are in fbreader.org.
