[edit] What am I trying to do
Be able to dial a SIP call from the command line or a script. Preferably, be able to dial a SIP call and send DTMF to use calling card services.
[edit] Why am I trying to do this?
I would like fully-functional least cost routing on my phone, including routes provided by telepathy as well as calling-card options. VICaR does a good job of providing the "calling-card" functionality over the GSM channel and provides a nice interface to route calls via LCR.
