The Maemo Community
Maemo community is the sum of developers working openly on the Maemo platform and compatible applications. It includes users of Maemo software with different levels of experience and expertise, interested in all kinds of collaboration and contributions to the project. Maemo community is sponsored by Nokia, which is active and equal member of the Maemo community.
By end of May 2008, the Maemo community included over 12.000 registered members, more than 600 projects in the Maemo garage, and over 200 applications available for download. Anybody can join the Maemo community, contribute to the work in Maemo garage, and provide transparent feedback to the community.
The home of the community is maemo.org. News, views, and new ideas of the community are aggregated on the News section of maemo.org.
