The currently used kernel for Mer is available here. This is 2.6.24 + Samsung patches + Smartdevices patch + Mer fixes.
mcuelenaere tried porting newer Linux kernels to the Smartq Q7 (Q5 isn't supported in these yet):
- 2.6.28: this is based on kki_ap/samsung-ap-2.6 with parts of the original Smartdevices patches applied (doesn't boot currently)
- 2.6.31: this is based on mainline and is mostly written from scratch (based on the Smartdevices patches)
- 2.6.31-samsung: this is the tree above, rebased on kki_ap/linux-2.6-samsung
Currently there are more patches posted at the linux-arm-kernel ml (look for @samsung.com mails), which don't seem to have a public git tree; and thus these aren't integrated in any of the trees above.
The newer Linux kernels don't have all the Samsung drivers ported/integrated yet, so either these need to be "forward"-ported or redone from scratch (or wait till the patches at linux-arm-kernel get integrated into mainline).
