This package contains the splashscreen.

Provides files:

/etc/event.replace.d/osso-systemui-splashscreen
/usr/bin/splashscreen-util
/usr/lib/systemui/libsystemuiplugin_splashscreen.so

Seems this package relates boot images or boot videos, but even this is uninstalled boot images/videos still works.

Default installed version

osso-systemui-splashscreen:
Installed: 0.2.3.0+0m5

No package depends on it. (even osso-systemui is listed as it's Reverse Depends)

If removed

*Nothing happens!?
