Miniature wishlist
We called it a roadmap, but it is more frank to just say wishlist.
If the feature you have in mind is missing you can add it to the Proposals below. If you want to work on a feature [[Miniature#Contact_us|contact us] and we will do our best to help you.
- Play games online (this milestone will be reached with miniature-0.2)
- Currently under development:
- Login to FICS as registered user or guest
- See offers to play a game
- Filter offers by type of game, time, increment and type of rating (under development)
- Create a new offer to play a game (under development)
- Play a game against another FICS user (under development)
- Timeseal support (under development)
- Play FICS tournaments
- Full access to FICS console
- Currently under development:
- Chat with your opponent
- The UI is ready for this, and we will try to implement this first for FICS games.
- Landscape support at least for the board might be a consequence of this.
- Real-time P2P chess
- Real-time P2P Miniature|Play P2P online against other Miniature users (supported in Miniature for Maemo)

- Chess clock only function: It would be great to use the N900 as a chess clock only if there is a real board and a "real" opponent is available. The functionality will be in the apllication so a nice UI for this function is all what is needed.--jukey 21:57, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
- Chat via freechess.org should work as plugin for the messages application (xmpp/skype/googletalk/...) at the moment. How could this be done?--jukey 15:21, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
Integrated in the roadmap:

- savegame feature for human vs computer and human vs human games cause the game tends to take quite a while.
