Nokia N810

The Nokia N810 Internet Tablet

Originally announced October 17th, 2007, the N810 IT is the newest tablet available for sale from Nokia. As for hardware specs, it is the same as its predecessor, the Nokia N800. The differences are that it has 2GB of storage memory, a daylight readable screen, a non-rotating camera on the face of the device, and a back-lit sliding keyboard. It also has an ambient light sensor to automatically adjust backlight levels based on the amount of light, as well as integrated GPS (A-GPS is used in Diablo) and a single miniSDHC card slot.

Nokia N810 Wimax Edition

A new version has been announced that will operate on Clearwire and Sprint's Xohm WiMax network. Sprint and Nokia have said that activating WiMax can be done from the device with no Wi-Fi connection. Sprint also says that WiMax will be done in a pay-as-you-go method. This means that one will be able to purchase a length of time (day, week, month, year, etc.) instead of being locked to paying a certain amount every month.
