The word "choice" in a level 2 heading was spelled wrong so I figured there would be no harm in correcting that. --youngcalihottie 23:20, 15 January 2010 (UTC)

2.1.1.xxx Manual Sort Needed?

Currently in the "2.1.1 List of mms parameters per country and per provider" section, the countries listed are "2.1.1.1 USA, 2.1.1.2 Italy, 2.1.1.3 Country of your choice" in that order. Rather than have the countries scrambled in the random order that people will add them to the wiki, may I suggest listing each country by its country calling code? i.e. 2.1.1.1 USA, 2.1.1.39 Italy, etc. Or just alphabetically? But in some type of order. --youngcalihottie 23:20, 15 January 2010 (UTC)

  • Nevermind. I just added the info for AT&T and I see that the numbering is done automatically. So I suppose it will just be listed randomly unless users manually alphabetize the list periodically. Or unless there is some other wiki function I don't know about? (I'm new here and just trying to help out :P) --youngcalihottie 23:28, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
  • One solution would be to have this ordered manually. An other would be to have a table like in this article: http://wiki.maemo.org/Opt_Problem/Non-Optified_packages There you can sort each row by clicking the sort icon in the tables first line. If making manually ordered parts it would be okay to keep it in alphabetic order 2.1.1.1 Austria - 2.1.1.2 Belgium - and so on. But I also can live with the other proposals :) --jukey 23:37, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
    • That table is pretty cool. I didn't know about that. The only reason I would vote for the way it is now over the table is because people can post anchors (http://wiki.maemo.org/Mms#USA) whereas it doesn't look like the table has that. Unless there is a way to add anchors to the table? --youngcalihottie 23:49, 15 January 2010 (UTC)

/MMS

I don't know how to do a redirect on wiki, but /MMS (all caps) doesn't come here. We should probably fix that. --youngcalihottie 00:15, 16 January 2010 (UTC)

Simply move the page and the old name will link to the new name. --cas07 01:29, 16 January 2010 (UTC)

  • Thank you for taking care of that and the info. --youngcalihottie 02:08, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
