Talk:Task:Proof-read Human Interface Guidelines

  • I am just copying and pasting the original text into the wiki, and then edits can be tracked very clearly using the Wiki's history button.

  • Questions
    • Are we talking about Hildon devices or Maemo devices?
    • Can I edit the Section titles? Some of them could be helped by more descriptive (and better thought-out titles).
    • What should I do if a section needs more than just creative proof-reading? A few sections that I've edited could use a lot more fleshing-out.
    • What about screen shots? I still haven't gotten the Maemo 5 SDK working, but this entire HIG could really benefit with some good visual examples.
    • This document contains sections that could not only use a complete rewrite, but a complete rethinking about the content they possess. As stated, screen shots could help, but fleshing out the how's and why's would be much more suitable. An example might be to link certain statements to real-world location (e.g., asking developers to let users provide feedback should link to Bugzilla, etc.).
