This task is part of the [[Objective:One_place_to_track_feedback]].
Currently feature requests are handled via http://bugs.maemo.org in a not very efficient way: many users don't know about this and the connection with Maemo SW product management is poor. In fact both aspects are somewhat related: product managers have plenty of sources of feedback and community feedback is spread through different channels with a lot of noise and overlaps. The solution is to promote a single channel at a Maemo community level, give relevant to the topics that matter and have a good communication with product management there.

This task is part of the Objective:One_place_to_track_feedback.

Questions

  • What are the requirements?
  • Can bugs.maemo.org enough fulfill them? Why?
  • If not, is a tool like Ubuntu Brainstorm what we need?
