The Q7 is basically a bigger-screen version of the Q5, with an extra USB host port added and no internal bluetooth.

There are images of a disassembled Q7 available at http://www.jiongtang.com/blog/html/smartq5/smartq7-apart-images.html

Components

Connections

The S3C6410 SoC has 3 SD ports, one has the iNand connected and the external SD port, the other has the SDIO wi-fi chip connected. (unsure whether using these 3 at the *same* time is possible due to GPIO sharing)

The audio codec is connected through I²C (control, address 0x?) and I²S (audio transport).

GPIO ports

  • AT88SC: N0 -> SCL, N1 -> SDA (emulated I²C bus)
  • LCD panel: M0 -> LCD enable, M1 -> SCL, M2 -> SDA (emulated I²C bus)
  • backlight: F15 (== PWM_TOUT1)
