- | I propose including this in just a FAQ, rather than having a separate N900 page.

- | I have no huge problem with that idea. I have 3 concerns though:
| + | |
- | | + | |
- | * The FAQ was conceptualized as separate because the device is uniquely what is bringing many people to the site with specific N900-related questions (some of which are maemo-related, I grant)
| + | |
- | * The regular FAQ could be intimidating to new users who are uninterested in the minutiae of development, for instance - with the best will in the world, at present, 'how do I get root access' is not something your new N900 owner or prospective owner would give a monkey's about, if I may be frank.
| + | |
- | * Putting this into the regular FAQ might be a bit of overkill (there's a lot here that is really rather specific)

- | To address these, it's necessary to revamp the FAQ page as is radically. e.g. with questions at top, compartmentalized, and linked to a set of answers either below or perhaps on different page(s) - there is a reason for this, btw - pages that are too long are not friendly, load slowly, and are frustrating on small screens.
