User talk:Mandor

Hi,

I saw your change to thr front page - I don't think adding a new Q&A change is a positive change, so I'll be reverting your edit. I just wanted to let you know.

In general, it's better to propose major changes to the front page on the mailing list - there is in fact a task open to simplify the front page of the wiki, so adding new links really needs justification.

As you can see, with the Beginners and Development sections, there are already links to 3 Q&A pages on the front page.

Thanks for your edit! I hope you don't mind the revert too much.

Cheers, Dave.

Hi!

Following up on your question.

There are lots of ways to create new pages, the best (IMHO) is to create a link to an empty page in an existing relevant page, and then click on the red link.

I don't think that this particular page should be on the front page - if it does, it should replace an existing front page link (or two).

That thread is 13 pages long, perhaps you could point me to the relevant posts in the thread which suggest a name & content for the page?

An N900 FUD-busting page should probably get linked from "Nokia N900", maybe also "User FAQ".

Hope that helps!

Cheers, Dave.
