Got Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic) running on the N900.
Working:
- X, with GNOME and GNOME netbook launcher.
- Keyboard keymap
- Touchscreen
- Wi-Fi
- Mounting the Maemo rootfs partition (ubi0:rootfs)
- LEDs
- Bluetooth
- (Emergency) Charging (bq24150 module included in image)
- Charging using i2c
Not working:
- Sound not tested.
- Watchdog kicker (bah, forgot to save how I did it, will worry about that later)
- Accelerated X, working on it, won't be redistributable/part of image.
- Cellular modem (I wouldn't hold my breath - maybe when MeeGo's out)
